It is not a secret that shortly after releasing Windows 7 Microsoft Corporation has started making people interested in the new OS they are working on, Windows 8 (and many hope they will keep calling new systems 8, 9, 10 etc). Everyone hopes there will be a lot to see in the new Windows 8, as the Windows 7 has shown a nice direction of Microsoft’s thoughts. Though it had some lacks, Windows 7 looked like something really new, comparing to the older versions, and Windows 8 is expected to emphasize the progress.

It is known now that the new product will be released in 2012, or perhaps in 2011, and will introduce some new networking features, and will probably have a completely 128-bit platform architecture. Though, there is an opinion that Microsoft will not go for dumping the 32-bit or 64-bit compatibility, as there is no chance that all the computers will have motherboards with 128-bit support by 2011, neither by 2012 as well.
